People had high expectations from Saamy 2, but the film failed to win the hearts of the people. Saamy 2 was a major disaster at the box office with negative reviews from critics and audiences. Story:Ramaswamy (Vikram) is a strict police officer who lost his family at a very young age. He tries to avenge the deaths of his family members and tries to keep an eye on the culprits. One day, Diya (Kirti Suresh) meets Ramaswamy and falls in love with him after saving him from a gang of goons.

Review:
Vikram performs in the role of a police officer. His aggressiveness and screen presence proves to be good for the film. In addition, he looks dynamic and proves that he can easily do such roles.
Kirti looks very beautiful on Suresh's screen. In some scenes, Keerthi is seen with minimal make-up but she manages to pull the film with her subtle acting skills.
Some confrontation scenes between Vikram and Bobby are impressive and increase the excitement factor to an extent.
Overall, Saamy 2 is a regular action drama film with nothing new. Vikram comes in with a great performance as a cop but the film fills with action episodes. Everyone who likes such a tremendous action drama can see this film.
